Washington, Tignall & Kettle Creek Battlefield

Full day trip up to Wilkes County to photograph the cities of Washington & Tignall.  I also stopped by Kettle Creek Battlefield to learn about the significance of that event in the American Revolution.  Washington, Georgia is the home of Robert Toombs, who was the Secretary of State for the Confederacy.  Washington attracts many visitors of the Toombs home near downtown.
