Rabun Bald 

About a 2 hour drive from Athens going up HWY 441.  For a brief stretch of the trip you cross over into North Carolina.  I would recommend stopping by Bella's Junction Cafe near Sky City.   Rabun Bald is the 2nd highest peak in Georgia behind Brasstown Bald.  The trails are not as well marked as other parks.  Pictures taken May 3rd, 2015
