Union Point, Georgia
Union Point is located in Greene County about 35 miles away from Athens. One of the ways to go to Union Point is down HWY 15. Right when you cross into Greene County from Oconee, you will see the Iron Horse on the left. I was fortunate to get to meet with some of the local residents in Union Point and was able to get a brief history lesson about the town. I would like to thank the local residents for their kind hospitality and taking the time to talk with me about their town.
